Aligner Fitter (Croatian chewie) is a product made of materials compliant with EU Food Contact Materials (FCM) standards and USA Food Contact Materials (FCM) standards, allowing safe use in the oral cavity. It serves as a supportive aid for user comfort by helping facilitate the placement of clear aligners on the teeth. The product has no medical or therapeutic purpose.

HOW TO USE CHEWIES OR ALIGNER FITTERS?

Aligner fitters are used by holding the fitter between the fingers and applying short-term use while the clear aligners are placed on the teeth, with the aim of facilitating their placement easier and improving user comfort.

  1. 👄 Place the aligners – put the aligners on your teeth
  2. 👉 Hold the fitter with your fingers
  3. 🦷 Gently bite on the fitter – while the aligners are on your teeth
  4. 🔁 Continue biting – until you feel that the aligners are properly seated on the teeth and comfortable
  5. 💧 Rinse the fitter with water – after use, it is recommended to rinse the fitter with water and store it in a clean place

This process can be repeated as needed, depending on the user’s personal habits of removing and placing aligners, as well as user preferences.

For hygiene reasons, regular replacement of the fitter is recommended, for example when changing aligners or based on the user’s personal assessment.

Service description

Treatment Planning is an advisory and technical service that includes operational support within digital software systems used for aligner case planning.

As part of the service, ReffMed provides support in the creation and revision of digital treatment plans on behalf of and according to the instructions of the treating clinician. The clinician reviews, approves, or requests modifications to the digital plan prior to final confirmation.

The service includes an unlimited number of digital plan revisions, in line with the clinician’s feedback.
